The body of this piece comes from aluminium and carbon fiber which has aided in quality finishing and lovely texture. Spectre 13 can be considered as one of the best and stylish laptop. This device is pretty sleek, slim and light. Considered as world's thinnest laptop, it is ultimately thin and only weighs 1.1 kg, Ddue to it's slim property, all the ports were moved to back part of the device. It has two USB Type C Thunderbolt 3 ports, microphone combo bot, 3.5mm headphone and additional USB type-C port for charging.

Full-HD Display resolution ensures a good quality of images and texts. Spectre holds HP's new sleek logo design and 13.3 inch glossy display provides very good level of brightness. Colours and resolution are good and it deals with reflections.
Gestures and Trackpads runs well and smooth. The metal trackpad is smooth and nice to touch. Spacing is managed well around with the spaces available. According to it's slimness, flex is absent. The chiclet keys provide comfortable typing and make smoother approach, Every keys are present and are not skipped and keyboard too seems flat and well-designed.
Three rubber strips down below acts as laptop feet and provides firm support. Since, the exhaust and intake vents are placed near back, you may not feel hot air while using Spectre in your lap.
In Spite of it's slim profile, HP has used the standard U-Series for mainstream performance and hasn't chose Core H Pprocessor. HP Spectre is available with Core i7 or Core i5 processor. It has got Windows 10 Pro 64-bit alongwith 8GB of RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac with 2*2 MIMO, a 5122 GB PCIe SSD, an HD Webcam, Bluetooth 4.2 and HP also gives 1-year subscription of MacAFee Live Safe. Bloatware aren't much installed so you shouldn't worry except HP recovery manager and some device registration programs.
One would expect such an excellent piece of device to excel at performance too. So far, this piece hasn't dissatisfied. Along with the of good performance on different processes, it runs graphics games well too. You may hear the fan spinning on it's top speed if you play high-end graphics game. Chances of blockage of intake vents remain a problem if you use this device in your lap.
For graphical content such as colorful images and videos, this device provides pretty good colors. It provides clear, vivid and sharp images. Lower Volume may be noticed on busy places but Volume may be good on empty and quiet rooms.
