Google quits Nexus and have brought us a new series of phones with big G stamped on it's back. It's Google new pixel smartphones. Google recently releases their two new models Pixel and Pixel XL. Pixel officially replaced Nexus devices. So what can we expect from Google's so call next-gen smartphones ? Let's have a look.

The phone looks impressive with the design. The back side of Pixel devices have a fingerprint sensor. The phone is full metal uni-body and is slim and beautiful. The design somewhat reflects iPhone too, but there is vast difference between these devices.The phone comes in three different color options : White, Black and Blue. The Pixel and Pixel XL looks like brothers with different heights and functionality. Google Pixel device are the first one to feature Snapdragon 821 processor which provides you a real fast Android Nougat experience.

Camera is a talking point for Pixel devices. The phone features 12.3 mega-pixels at f/2.0 aperture and sporting 1.5 Um sized pixels.Google camera will be extremely helpful to photographers. Google Pixel are also the first device to feature Google Assistant. This Assistant responds to user's questions and queries. The Google Assistant is much more helpful than Google Now. Now you can call and ask Google Assistant whatever you want, and it will provide you answers instantly.

The Google Pixel has a 1080p screen (another detail left vague in the presentation slides, as it said ‘high definition AMOLED’) and 2770mAh battery while the Pixel XL consists of 5.5 inch Quad HD display with the larger 3450 mAh capacity.
