Nepal Telecom extends it's Wi-Max Service to 75 districts

Nepal telecom has finally been able to extend their WiMAXX ( Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) Internet service all over Nepal. Nepal Telecom recently finished it's expansion in Humla and now all 75 districts are running the service. NT stated,

Now, all the districts have been connected to the internet service.

WiMAX is not popular in Nepal because of its high price range and very limited speed. As, compared to fiber optics, it has a very slow connection. The Wi-MAX service was launched on March 27, 2013, but was unable to connect Nepal until now. WiMAX has now reached every remote place in Nepal where wire technology couldn't reach.

Here are the latest Tariffs of WiMAX.
