Xiaomi launches affordablle Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Smartphones

Xiaomi recently launched budget-friendly handsets. Xiaomi Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 were launched exclusively by the company, following the trails of their highly successful Redmi 3 series. With, metal body, compact form factor and good-looking specifications, the phone will go a decent sale.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 A

Xiaomi Redmi sports 5-inch 720P display and a 1.4 Quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with  GB of RAM.4A is priced just US$74 (NRs. 7,900 roughly) and has onboard storage of 16 GB. The storage is expandable upto 128 GB via a microSD card. The Redmi 4A hass Android Marshmallow with MIUI 8.0. As talking about the camera, the device features 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie clicker. The phone is fueled by 3120 mAh battery, which is sure to last long. Dual-band WiFi ac, NFC and fingerprint sensor are absent but still infrared sensor is available. With full metal body, the phone has dual hybrid 4G LTE SIM capabilities.

Redmi 4 comes with two variants- the standard and high-end.

High end version

The high end version sports a 5-inch Full HD display, 2GHz OCta-core Snapdragon 625 prcessor. The device will have 3 GB of RAM. It has 13 MP of rear camera and 5 MP selfie snapper. It also has fingerprint scanner, which was missing in Redmi 4A and more premium look with 2.5D curved glass.

Standard version

The standard version is  bit-lower versin of the high-end. It has 5-inch HD display and is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor and is backed by 2GB of RAM. It has the same camera as that of the high-end version.

Price :

The Standard version of Redmi 4 is priced US$103 (NRs. 11,000)  and high-end is priced US$133 (NRs. 14,200).

Launch in Nepal :

Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Xiaomi Smartphones in Nepal has not revealed any information on these smartphone launch. Although, the phones are expected to launch in Nepal in February.
