Three Reasons to get excited for OnePlus 6T
October is said to be the time for the launch of one of the most promising phone - OnePlus 6T. Yes the Google Pixel is indeed about the launch but today I'll be discussing some reasons why I'm pretty excited about the upcoming OnePlus flagship which will be the ninth overall smartphone from the Chinese Manufacturer.
UPDATE: OnePlus confirmed that it will not feature the 3.5mm HeadPhone Jack in OnePlus 6T
So, with OnePlus 6 launched in May 2018 we were all expecting the upgraded version of OnePlus 6. OnePlus 6 brought slight changes covering from the display(notch very nice) and the rear camera. The dual-rear camera was placed on the centre of the phone with the placement of rounded-rectangle fingerprint sensor just below it. OnePlus 6 was a commercial success and one of the good phones of 2018 although customers were unhappy with the screen resolution and with having only "Full HD" display and also unavailability of expandable storage. However, it's September and the launch of OnePlus 6T is nearing with rumors suggesting the phone to be launched in the first week of October.
So, why to get excited for this phone ? Well, here are three reasons why I'm super excited for this phone:
1) Change in the NOTCH Design:
Yes, absolutely. OnePlus 6T will again introduce a slight change in the display section as the NOTCH which previously introduced in the OnePlus 6 is set to shrink to a water-drop shape. The notch looks better as the phone looking similar such as Oppo and Vivo has already launched their smartphone with the same design language. As we follow, OnePlus is a sub-branch of BBK Electronics and subtle changes that were seen in OnePlus phones were already introduced in Vivo and Oppo phones. So, it is highly likely that the phone's notch will shrink to a water-drop shape and really it looks beautiful.
The latest leak also suggests that the phone is indeed having the same design as Oppo R17 and that really sounds promising.
2) In-Display Fingerprint Scanner
It seems obvious that OnePlus 6T will be the fist OnePlus phone to feature an In-Display fingerprint scanner. The sibling companies like Vivo and Oppo has already implemented the in-display fingerprint sensor on the phones and OnePlus will be taking that step soon.
With OxygenOS prviding that Stock Android look and feel, it will be pretty interesting on how the phone will blend.
3) Always On Display
As the leak featured, the phone will be having an always on feature. This could possibly be an ambient display. The screenshot certainly provides the hint to Always On Display.
